We will have a limited Mini Sprint Schedule due to having to travel next year, so I have been thinking about getting Hunter another kart to play with. I just wanted to start a thread and see if we could get some feedback. Hunter and I are tired of running with 2 or 3 karts so we want to get back into something that has the potential of growing pretty fast. Like I said I dont want to spend more money to run with a couple karts, been doing that for too long. How about a Modified Animal class or does it look like the 250/2 stroke class is gonna grow. I heard a couple of the 125 guys were going Mini Sprints instead of moving up to the 250s. Any and all feedback is appreciated. I guess if worse comes to worse we could put a stock clone on it or a Modified Clone motor, I dont care what we do, I just want to run against more karts!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry, there is several Mods around, with the rules we have now the cost is way down compared to what it was, you could run any engine. On other hand mixing the 250s together at one weight will for sure make the class grow, there is several in the area, due to age it looks like the 250s will be much stronger than opens, and bye running an open age on the top end, adults could run in there as well for ones that want to race.
We need to pull together and figure this out, we need it bad....
Get out and build us our kart track Ron, get off your lazy Bu!! and make it happen....

On the CR250s, what are the better years to look for? What kind of price for a competitive Modified Animal?

I will get prices for ya, depends on if ya have a motor or not. If ya have a motor, prob around 400 to convert over, around 800 from scratch if you shop around maybe less.
CR250 is not the only good 250 to build....
