For what its worth, we have Animals here at JSJJ - you might be able to draw some down there if the classes were offered. you might even consider making them optional to run during that evenings event - for example if you need a minimum of three to run, then state that upfront...if ya dont get enough then refund the one or two that showed up and race yer regular program...just a thought...

We have been thru this for a good while, no naimals is not the problem, there is more animals around than clones, there could be a killer animal class if it was there and supported.

how about some free or reduced price play days and swap meets before this season starts. this will let you see what karts are out there and let us see if we want to race here this season. we dont want to travel again this year but dont want to race on the same old rough track with all the kaos that led us to racing other tracks last year. might alternate racing here and other tracks if the schedules are compatable and dont interfere with points. just a thought

If this is correct look at the sign-up for the Lonestar in the animal. Looks like the closest is from Ringold. Jay where are all the animals from Seymour?" I agree with Robert, the track did nothing to kill this animal class, the karts quit coming.

Scott the Animals did not get promoted, there are plenty Animals around. My point is just have an Animal class it dont hurt, the other point is bye having no Animal class there is no chance of getting outside racers from other tracks because Texoma is the ONLY clone track.
I am not bashing, just simply trying to support the track, and as you called out, look at the Animal roster!
There is three in Seymour.
Again not bashing, we all just need to try and help make racing better in this area.

Whatever we do we need to help Ron keep the track open. It is really going to hurt racing in this area if we have to travel every weekend to race. I would like to see animals back, maybe we could add them into the schedule once or twice a month to maybe grow some classes back. Maybe do a king of the hill like Kam does and have a different class each week. I think what we all need is new and fresh ideas. Anybody got any other ideas.

I am glad to see Ron calling the shots at the track again. This year will be fun but everyone needs to show their support and help bring texoma back to being a great facility. I am looking forward to being back into racing now that i am employed again and i will be out to race ASAP

Let see if this make some sense. Less classes make more kart in each classes we have. We have 7 Now. Lawton and all the big car track only run 4 to 5 classes. We wonder y to get people to run one of them cars. More classes = classes with only 5 or less kart/ cars in them. It only make sense to run what we been running and build what we got now. I would love to add every class but making trophy and awards for only 5 or less kart everynight can get costly. I hope this help ya. I do know the animal will be at the 2 special show we will have this year like always and yes most of the time there the biggest class on them night but not but one or two are local. We got the classes we want to promote and run. Thanks, Robert 940-337-0248 PS. We got our old web address back it up and some info on it more will be the soon. www.texomamotorspeedway.com

texoma is the only "clone track"!!!!!!!! if we run more of what other tracks have then there is a good chance of building classes.... just my 2 cents

*sigh*....
Well, FWIW: JSJJ will be offering animal classes again...sherry has stated in the past that she only needs three in the class to run it.
Not trying to hijack the thread but if you wanna run animals and you cant do it local, then it appears to be either Seymour or JSJJ as the only options...come play with us - we'll take ya!!

I wouldn't say Texoma is the only clone track. I know seymour runs them and so does Knox City.
